Finding Template for added statistics

I'm "trying" to add an SM Forum Statistics enhancement to my site. The installation instructions say:
1) Import the product
2) Open the FORUMDISPLAY Template
3) add after $navbar:
HTML code: $forumtops
4) Save...

So, I used cute ftp to life the download which is an .xml form up to my site. I wasn't sure where to place it, so I placed it in the forums area under the cp file. It said I was replacing another file with the same title si I thought that was good.

Now it says to open the FORUMDISPLAY Template. So, I went to my Admin CP for the forum and opened anything that remotely looked like it could hold a template... and, nothing says FORUMDISPLAY Template. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm really a novice... I know. I've been building this forum with absolutely no knowledge of
how to create a websites... thanks
