Finding Template for added statistics

I'm "trying" to add an SM Forum Statistics enhancement to my site. The installation instructions say:
1) Import the product
2) Open the FORUMDISPLAY Template
3) add after $navbar:
HTML code: $forumtops
4) Save...

So, I used cute ftp to life the download which is an .xml form up to my site. I wasn't sure where to place it, so I placed it in the forums area under the cp file. It said I was replacing another file with the same title si I thought that was good.

Now it says to open the FORUMDISPLAY Template. So, I went to my Admin CP for the forum and opened anything that remotely looked like it could hold a template... and, nothing says FORUMDISPLAY Template. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm really a novice... I know. I've been building this forum with absolutely no knowledge of
how to create a websites... thanks

When you have questions regarding modifications, you need to post them in the modification thread - the thread where you downloaded the file.

Regarding the xml files.... they are usually products which you do not upload via ftp, but instead go to Products & Plugins > Manage Products > Upload Product. Manual pages - Plugin System

Templates are in Styles & Templates > Style Manager > find your style in the list > Edit Templates. You may have to expand the templates to see them all... click on the <<>> button to expand them all. Double-click to edit. Manual pages - Styles & Templates

Advise.... always read a modification thread prior to installing a modification. That way you may see what sort of issues people are having before you install the mod. Also, if you have a test site, always install the modification first on the test site to make sure it works for you.

I hope that helps.
