Hi,

When setting up a new forum and applying a link so it's mearly a forum link, the forum itself appears but the title (and it's link) do not appear. Any clue where this is controlled?

More information needed. Where are you applying this link? Do you mean a specific forum inside your forums?

I'm creating a new forum. In the forum set up I enter a url in the forum link field. I set the forum to be a subforum of an existing forum. Then Save changes.

The subforum appears as it should. The forum description appears, the last post, replies, views, and, moderator column appear correct. The only thing that is missing is the subforum title. This leaves nothing to click on for the link.

Jake, over at vbulletin.com suggested reverting all forumhom_forumbit templates. I'll try that and try to track down what template is the problem specifically.

So the forum title isn't appearing?

Make sure this whole if condition appears in your forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost.

The subforum will show up if it's set to not act as a forum. It will also show properly if it's not a link. Only when it's set up to act as a forum and also set as a link does the title just vanish on me. For appearance sake I'd like it to maintain the look of other forums rather than as a forum category. So I was attempting to set it up as a forum and a link in order for it to look propper and to link elsewhere. Maybe this just isn't something that's possible with vb3.0.1. Attached is a screenshot of what it's doing.

Still running v3.0.1 and not looking forward to hours of upgrading

I did upgrade to vb3.0.2 this evening, but the problem still exists. I realize that templates dont' change in upgrades.

This is basically the code that controls the forum title of the sub forum. Sorry, I've got no idea. All the sub-forum code that should be there is there. Maybe one of the developers or others may be able to help you - try vBulletin.com's Template forum. It may also be not related with the templates at all. I can't say for sure.
