But fortunately i just managed to get into admin panel when I was "testing around". So i disabled the strike login option in general settings because I dont want to keep seeing "failed login attempts"...

Since im placing my server behind a DDOS protection server, then how to deal with brute force attempts? Somebody told me it's possible to set it up inside admin panel but how to do that? I mean how to "bypass" and show real IP behind DDOS protection server when it comes to the login strokes?

Your proxy server should forward the real IP address instead of it's own. That is the only real solution.
