Do a search in phrases in the Admin CP for welcome_x and make sure to click the title only box.

I've tried to search for "welcome_x" and clicked on "Search Titles Only" >> "Yes". When I click "Find", I get main Style Manager page. :surprised:

go to phrase manager, at the bottom is find. You can use welcome as the only word.. this shoud bring up a few hits. Should be the 4th one down (or about that) your looking for. click on the edit button on the right.

Thanks.

I've searched for "welcome" and found this:

Varname: $vbphrase[welcome_x]
Text: Welcome, {1}.

What is {1}? Is it another variable? The text I get in vB is:

When using phrases in vB you can supply variables that will be used to complete the phrase.

Like the username is stored in $foobar["username"] you can "tell" vB to use that in the phrase.
The "{1}" will then be replaced by the contents of $foobar["username"]

Hope that helps a bit
