Ive never found a solution for this depsite trying all sorts, including attempting to use data from external.php.

I want to use 1 forum for news. How could I go about extracting data from the the database?
Ideally I need to get
Post date, poster, title, message, number of comments, and if possible BBCode to be parsed.

The hard part I guess is parsing the BBCode.
