They were also saying it would be more like a service. Pretty much meaning if you want a feature buy it. I hope someone makes bill relize he already has enough money. Actually the public will probley let him know by going to mac. Then I'm sure most programs will also be useable on mac.

Yes, I totally agree. I hope hackers release a crack to bypass Palladium OR game/applications producers start developing for Mac/Linux. If Longhorn will include 'pay-to-access' feautures like Pay for accessing .mp3 and .avi/.mpg files then I'll no longer use Billy's OS. Linux is starting to be more desktop oriented (DVDs already work under Linux and game developers are starting to releaqse linux ports of their games) and if it continues like this we won't need Windows anymore.
