Moderator actions can be checked in the Moderator Log in admincp.

The Moderator Log also has date and time of action. If you know the name of the moderator that deleted the post or the date then you should have no trouble locating the action to the post.

If it was soft-deleted (recoverable) the entry will say Thread Soft Deleted. There will also be a link to the post.

If the post was removed permanently (unrecoverable unless the database was backed up) the entry will say Post by (name of moderator) Deleted. There is a link to the thread in which the post was deleted. Check the thread, as others suggested. There will be no link to the post - only a link to the thread.
