I grew up with pineapples and love it; just had some last night in fact. Grapefruit is another fruit I've enjoyed over the years.
I am a big vegetable consumer like you and if I do eat meat it's either poultry or fish (no beef for pork). My vegetables aren't drown in dressing either. If anything they're complimented with olive oil, apple cider and Splenda or sugar mixed together. Often I can eat them without dressing. If I'm eating chicken and tofu I'll shred or chop them into the salad as toppings. The vegetable serving size per meal is quite huge too.
