Though I'm not doubting anyone's particular case, us good hard working developers are constantly plagued by people who want something for nothing, and want a 100% dedicated coder for their project without paying a handsome retainer fee. You get what you pay for.

Thanks for the support MisterPopularity. I am tired of developing someone's product and having a paypal dispute claim a few days later simply because they want something for nothing.

No, I don't seem to get a kick out of this kind of thing, nor have I done this kind of thing. I hope that Jelsoft does the right thing and removes this thread or locks it.

I have to say also, if this type of thing keeps happening from here, your going to finish up in a situation were everybody is going to be totally paranoid about hiring coders from this site sooner or later. There have been too many cases of this happening recently were rouge coders are using this site to rip people off. And it's not doing vB.org any favours what so ever!

Something needs to change, be it a rating system like others have mentioned or whatever.

I have ripped no one off. I am running a legitimate business here in Calgary, Alberta. I have worked on the Invisionize community, taking people's requests for about 1-2 years and I have not gotten this kind of bad press there.

All it comes down to is that some people here want a free ride and either the developer shrugs off the PayPal dispute, his rep and his money or he has to defend himself against these claims.
