What do i do to get vb to allow thread titles to allow text formating?

I want to allow formatting like * PLEASE READ FIRST * to work in thread titles.

you know you can make a red layout pretty easy,...

you know you can make a red layout pretty easy, it isnt really all that graphical. just edit the main css and change some colors.

I've been attempting to hack in a quick reply similar to the ones that I've seen in IPB. They start out collapsed, and you press the button (only one at the bottom instead of one next to every post)...
