It totally works for vb3. nothing is different from the tutorial. Just check each file one by one and edit the necessary things. I upgraded heavily hacked board from 3.0.3 to 3.0.5

Just remove all the phrases from database and reinstall just the phrases. After this you have to search for one of your phrase and save the phrase again. After that your problem should be solved.
