i was more of referring to the functionality of the modification. Many of the features do not work i.e. results, exporting, etc... not to mention styling issues

I believe you can adjust the width via admincp...

I believe you can adjust the width via admincp style manager-> style var -> search for width. also can use the additional.css template to fix some of those other issues.
