I'm sure it won't be that big a deal to convert but I don't plan to upgrade my own vBulletin licenses to vb4 which means I won't have a test environment to code against.

Definitely going to upgrade to vb4 but not right away. Let it be out for a little bit so they can do at least one maintenance release. I think rushing to vb4 is definitely a bad idea for people...
