Having it create it on the fly i think is the best option. It means it works on existing albums, plus whenever you change the watermark in the admin all pictures are automatically updated.

I think i've fixed the issue (at least for me)....

I think i've fixed the issue (at least for me). It requires an additional plugin. What happens is on an error page such as the one that occurs on the "getnew" returning no posts, the error page...
