we have http://www.ourdomain.com/ with a form for logging in that uses the vbulletin authentication system and so on...the forms action is set...

Last Login Date/Time Incorrect

a lot of users are reporting that when they log into the forum, the time/date display of their last login is incorrect...the system is showing dates from a few days ago when they actually logged in...

if we have an SSL on the site, could i make things simpler and just remove the javascript client-side md5 encryption that vbulletin uses?

that way, the password would be sent as clear text, hashed...
