Actually I tested it at work and there everything looks smooth (64-bit Windows 7 ultimate with IE 8 on ATI gfx-card). The only difference between these systems are the graphics card (nVidia at home)...

I don't think you should be scared about trying this in such a minor release. It's just a couple of template edits. Easy to revert.

No it does not disappear. Are you sure you haven't actuallly deleted the user? Try a temporary ban of a couple of days and check if that works better.
