It there a way to log user action?

What I'm looking for is: A User posts something, then edits this text later. I'd like to be able to see his original posting.

editing templates in comparison mode?

I'm close to becoming crazy when trying to manually edit my old templates to include the changes of 3.7.0 ... is there any mod or plugin that allows to edit templates while being in the comparison...

Well, don't forget about all these new mobile Internet devices (iPhone, eee PC) - I think keeping it well readable on displays with 800 px width is a good idea.
