thepub, if your problem is the same as mine, you need to re-apply the changes to the functions_editor.php file. After our upgrade, that file had been replaced. I re-applied those changes and it works...

A workaround is to just have the admin change the group leader ID in the admin panel. But you probably thought of that. Would be a nice addition.
