Most vps providers sale top plans with 1 gig of ram, maybe some at 2 gig but...

As anyone tried this hack with vb 3 gamma yet? We had it working on 2.2.9 and liked it very much. Just wondering if it works before we go to all the trouble installing just for it not to work.
