Flashing announcments
 
The announcment icon on my forum used to flash when i added a new announcment. now it doesnt anymore. is there a hack / option that allows this? please tell me i need to know :-\

Maybe just replace the icon with a moving gif file?

there are 2 announcement images. announcment and onannouncment or newannouncment. its supposed to change to the other announcment image but it stays the same

That is because you have marked the new announcement as read.

huh? i also asked a member if they see the flashing icon right after i make an announcment. they said it doesnt :(
