Vbulletin Code Disabled; How to reenable it?
Hi,
For some inexplicable reason my vbcode does not seem to be working. This manifests itself in the way in which when the proprietry vbulletin code "[tag]" is placed around text, it is not converted into html. ([ b ] word [ /b ] does not become word). How can I reenable it? I have looked in "Posting Code allowances (vB code / HTML / etc)", and edited everything there, but unfortunately nothing there alters anything. I have also looked in "vBcode Definitions", and nothing there alters it. I am running a fresh install. New posts do not show up the code. Many thanks for your time. |
It need to be enabled for individual forums.
Go to Admin CP, then Forums & Moderators, click Modify. Choose a forum to Edit. Then scroll down, and click vBCode to YES. Do this for the forums you want vBCode enabled in. |
Excellent, thank you very much Erwin, that solved my problem.

Glad to help! :)
