I want to force users with a certain amount of posts to use the default avatars in my database, but when they reach a certain number of posts, they will be able to upload their own or specify a URL for the image. This would really encourage activity and add another level of seniority between members, just as user titles do. :)

Can anyone make this hack?

Right now, you can only specify when a user can use avatars at all, and beyond that limit you can only control if they have the ability to upload their own or not. Can anyone do this? :)

I think you can do this actually. Isn't there a 'minimum posts to have a custom avatar' option as well as 'minimum posts to have an avatar'?
