Something seems to be interupting my user promotions
Okay so on my forum I have an automatic usergroup promotion when a user reaches 14 days registered + 25 posts. This has been working fine until today.
One of my users has passed this requirement, and I have now run the promotions scheduled task a number of times, but it doesn't update their displayed usergroup (and associated rank image). On the usergroups manager they appear in the correct usergroup however. I ran the rank/title maintenance task - no result. Cleared the forum cache etc. etc. Nothing. The mods I have installed since it working fine until this error: Ozzmods PM Spy DBtech Slider (pro) DBtech Advanced Likes/Thanks (i had this previously but upgraded to pro) Could one of these be causing the issue? |
Disable the mods and see if one of them is causing the issue. Also, check your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host) to see if something is in there.

The promotion won't promote him if he wasn't on since the last time it ran.
If it persists for a few days, worry about it. Otherwise, don't. |
EDIT: this issue has been resolved (the ranks were the problem, something had gone wrong with them on the server)
