Is it possible to have all users become friends?
 

I'm using IDW's Ideal Chat Pro mod, basically gives a facebook-inspired chat at the bottom of the page.

In order for you to chat, you must be friends (like facebook) and it's getting annoying and their own support team won't help me.

is there a way to make EVERYONE friends, (i've looked at auto-friend mods but they're for admin purposes)

I don't believe have ever seen a mod that makes everyone friends with all users on the forum.

Hmm in theory you should be able to do this with a query but I did remember something like this from long ago exist, I searched but sadly neither version has been updated to work with 4.x but it's similar to your request just not instant 100% friends with everyone per say.

In the least the queries within the mod will give you insight into it, then cross reference to ensure the tables and such are there and the same within 4.x and run a backup before running any queries ;).
