Recent Forum Post Widget & Displaying Thread Prefix
Hi there,
Is anyone able to inform me of how to make the thread prefix display within the widget next to the thread title? I believe I need to use {vb:raw thread.prefix_rich}, however placing in template vbcms_widget_recentposts_page doesn't appear to do anything. My current template is: Code:
<div class="cms_widget"> Thanks! Danny |
What have you done to the /widget file query to make sure the thread prefix is even available to use?
|
I haven't :/
I was assuming that as the widget was a default, that it would just come down to editing the template. |
If the query doesn't include getting the prefix, then it isn't going to be available to use.
Check the files packages/vbcms/widget/recentposts.php and you will see the query does grab thread.prefixid, however it does nothing with it. You would need to modify the code to actually do something with it. It may be available as {vb:raw post.prefixid}, but that is just the id. You would need to add the code to actually change it to prefix_rich text that you want. |
Sounds complicated. I see the section you mean, however with no PHP knowledge I'd not have a clue what to do.
Thanks though! |
