Modifying registration fields to prevent spam
Gang; ( running VB 3.5.4 )
So no doubt many of us receive the following from spam bots filling out regisration fields: Man Array 123456 Question: Can I prevent (regular expression or otherwise) words or numeric input as above on a field to field level? In other words, I want the registation process to not allow use of 'Man' or 'Array' ... etc. Thanks - V |
You would have to block those words out completely off the forum or use one of the extensive captcha Add-ons that are supplied on this site via Modifications.
It works wonders and keeps the spambots from joining every time. |
