2 forums from one license?! :O

How are forums that are using a license on two websites discovered?

I may have seen one, but how can I be sure that it is the same license?

What is the penalty for this?

Hi buddy,

Not sure how this works out but i feel the general rule of thumb is One licence = One forum

Remembering that http://www.myforum.com is the same as http://myforum.com

The only other legal way to have a second site and VB are very strict on this is that you can set up a test site, for your own use, and not being accessable to the general population.

You won't get away with a "Test Site" with 15,000 members and 250,000 posts

the penalty for having an unlicenced site would be severe, but this line of action is confidential, but would probably result in a take down notice to your site host as well as impending legal action.

In addition to his they could have a domain that points to the same forums, and have certain boards available for viewing depending on what domain you come from.

That does actually violate the licence agreement, just in case anyone's wondering.
