Top Bar at the top of the page - how can it be done.

I'm trying to add a bar at the top of the page to display my other websites etc like this:

How can this be done and is their already a hack for this as I cannot find one?

Its just HTML, you can place it at the top of the header template.

I tried what you said but it seems to not work and only displays the text without the html background - I;ve used this on many other websites

what would you use in HTML to create the bar ?

Any HTML can be placed in templates, double check the HTML you've used. Be sure to include any CSS or other code if its required.

You must Make a $topbar and have a template , AWjunkies wrote the plug in for me , I hard coded it in html and things got bad in a hurry real slow and google links were duplicated with the topbar content as the descriptions

If your going to do a top bar do it right , use images and no text and have it called on Global Start and not on every page refreshing each time
