Why is vbulletin.org still on Version 3.6.10

Nothing wrong with the board. It looks great and I'm sure it's a big help. But I'm wondering why it's not on a later version of VB as I keep hearing that we should always run the latest version with the security patches.

Maybe read this - vb.org @ 3.7.0
or this - Why vB.org doesn't upgrade to vBversion 3.7.0?
