Is this a new feature? And how do I control it???

After a moderator logs in, and tries to moderate some posts, it asks him to re-enter his password to check permissions (I think). My moderators enter their pw correctly, but it denies them access , altho their passwords are correct!!!

How, and from which option in the acp, can I control this new feature?

ps. my version is 370gold.

Its a new feature in 3.7 that can't be disabled from what i can tell.

If your moderators are 100% sure they are entering their PW correctly, disable all plugins with the config.php file edit, and have them try again.

That's really a bummer :(
I'll try and see. Thanx, FRDS.

brb!

I found in the acp's general settings:

Quote:

Enable Inline Moderation Authentication
Inline moderation actions will require a user to authenticate again prior to being performed. The timeout is based on the admin control panel timeout, or one hour if that option is disabled
But where can I set this timeout?

This doesn't have anything to do with the timeout, there is no need to change it...

The problem lies with the password checking by the look of it.

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

If your problem still exists, please create a new Style with no Parent set. Now browse the forum using this new style, do you still have the same problems? If you are troubleshooting login or guest issues, you will need to set this style as board default in the vBulletin Options.

Follow those instructions and see if the login begins to work (I'd suggest you do the last paragraph first)
