Database error in Admin CP

Everytime when I'm in the Admin CP editing a template, I get an email with a database error.

Database error in vBulletin :

mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Too many connections
/home/vhosts/techlifeforums.com/httpdocs/includes/class_core.php on line 274

MySQL Error :
Error Number :
Date : Monday, December 10th 2007 @ 01:28:29 PM
Script : http://www.techlifeforums.com/adminc...fy&expandset=2
Referrer :
IP Address : 128.241.20.167
Username :
Classname : vb_database
What could be the cause of this? The only thing that I changed in the template was the removal of a link on the main forum page.

It says to many connections to the mysql server. I would recomend u contact your host.

The strange thing is that I get the same error message about the RSS feeds, and it doesn't happen anymore.

Yea the RSS feeds pull from your mysql database or are writing to the database depending on which way you are going.

So it's also possible that the forum was doing too many things with the mySql server, so the maximum amount of allowed connections was exeeded?

Exactly. However this sounds like a very limited web host. You are probally on a shared host and want to move.

I started with my forum (and of course this web host) 2 months ago, and if I get many more of these problems I'd surely look for a different web host.
