Scheduled Task Problems
 

I'm in the process of configuring a VB 3.6.5 installation (adding forums, tweaking, adding plugins, etc.).

I noticed that lately, the scheduled tasks aren't running. Even the ones that are set to run every X minutes only run once a day or every few days. The forum is in inactive mode - could that be whats causing it?

The footer code that runs the cron job's hasn't been removed. I'm using a lot of plugins though. Here's what im using:

Scheduled Tasks only run when someone is browsing the forum. If your board is closed then no Scheduled Tasks will run at all.

Is there any way to by pass this, because even though the forum is closed, and admin can still browse it and therefore the tasks should run.

If the admin logs into the forums and keeps refreshing the pages, then the scheduled tasks will eventually get caught up. Check your scheduled tasks log, and in another winbdo refresh forumhome a few times, then refresh scheduled tasks log and you'll see.
