Users In Thread

This hack will show you users viewing a thread similiar to users way vbulletin shows how many users are viewing a forum on the forumlist.

This is a cleanup and rerelease of this hack: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=117948

Tried to get ahold of author but he was not reachable. (will remove hack if requested to do so)

Screenshot?

You can all view the one in the original hacks thread since its about the same look as this one.

Whats Different?

I fixed all the bugs with this hack in regards to it counting every single session row from the database which was incorrect. This now tracks sessions correctly based on the cookie timeout.

This hack is server friendly since it only uses one query to get all the needed data.

Ported Down to 3.5 from 3.6. So let me know if you have any issues.

very nice and useful! Clicked Install

Chicago_VLNU_4s 10-01-2006 10:28 PM

i dunno why this just happened, but recently, say there's only me or say a number of user's viewing a thread, it will say how many are in, then you press refresh and say there were 4 user's viewing, it still says 4. If you go back in, and go back, it say 5 users and it keeps adding everytime you go back in. Eventually after a couple seconds-minutes, it goes away, but it use to work good. What could be the problem? I do have the better preview hack installed found here:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=99520

maybe spiders? but it never did this before.
