Hacks separated in forums (with no prefixes)

I'm going to open a thread, in order to avoid discussions in the wrong place.
I mentioned in other posts that the best way to display the hacks database is to separate it in categories(forums), where you can click and get your results righaway, not to navigate through a zillion options in order to get your results.

What do you guys think?

This thread is in response to the following posts:

Easy to navigate, you find your hacks righaway.
All they need is a 'Help me finish' forum like in the old times...

Most curious.

The reply you quote is actually the second reply, this is the first, that was in direct response to your quoted post.

Teck,

Are you and the other detractors who want the "old days back" purposely avoiding the 'townhall' thread?

Thanks Paul for adding it.

Hi Regs, is really unapropriate the expression you used: detractor.
I simply wanted to state my own oppinion about a better design and in the same time, I wanted to see what do you guys think. If my idea is bad and other members decide is better the new design, I'm professional enough to accept it... I'm not obtuze.

But that does not stop me from expressing my own oppinion, in a polite way ofcourse.
In the townhall you can only express yourself in one single post, that's all. I might be wrong, please correct me.

Regards,

Floren

How many threads regarding the same thing do we need?

TECK 06-28-2006 06:16 AM

I did not noticed there were similar threads opened.
If that's the case, please close it. I apologize for the inconvenience I created, I will search this forum.

No big deal to me :D It just seems as if there are like 50 threads a week regarding the layout of stuff :D

no harm no foul

Maybe that should be a sign that people dont like the current layout....

I personally believe that the old system is more robust, and defines things easier...

However I am willing to wait and see how this is changed for the better :)

Chris
