This is currently and IPB mod, but would be very nice to see it as a vB3 port ;)

Maybe a system that will allow moderators/admins have to be able to verify the upload before allowing it to be publically visible would be a great idea for such a hack.

Yes, I believe this hack has that option. I had it installed on an IPB board. I love this hack.

Anyone else like to see this for vB3 Gold? I'm surprised... It's such a great hack.

I would love to see this but I am currently going to be using a non-vB download program but would love it for vB so I can use the usergroups to determine who downloads what

There's already a hacks database thing isn't there? Also, V3 articles can do all of those things in the feature list.
