Er, mine is around 2MB, no posts, 9 members, etc. not opened yet :p

mines like 200megs, and for some reason i just can't beleive that's right :confused: is there another way to check? and a way to check if any tables are broken?

If you have phpMyAdmin, go to it and click on your database name on the left. At the bottom of the tables listing there's a total.

Well we would be up to about 5,600 members, but I prune inactive members regularly. Many people have been around for a couple of years and there are quite a few members that are rather active posters. :)

Mine is 140.5 MB... lots of attachments. I find it amusing, though. I am thinking my hosting company is going to have something to say about that. I am terrified to see how they are going to handle the overage. My plan only allows for 100 MBs and I am using a ton on regular files, too. Yikes.

i think that's really a good way, i'd do on my personal sites, too if i would have any active ones ;)

depending on what your board is about, that's the best thing you can do :)
