good point. the problem is this:
for the human eye, if is all too uniform it becomes boring after a certain time. a contrast help you define better other areas.. and the way the bar is placed there is to harmonize with the posts that will follow ;)

the idea of blue is the match with the top website logo and nav bar.. i will post more screenshots when i have more time to work on it. cheers.

Nice theme.

But I also agree about the blue. Too rough on the eyes.

You can still get contrast with a less intense color.

it does firefly. the only difference is the dropdown menus.. they look the classic way we all know.

that's not it btw firefly.. i found another way.. by accident.. ;)

You can also get it by right clicking a shortcut, properties, change icon then you get a large size of all icons. And you can also use a special program that reads .dll files and you can get all the icons in one shot.

i've tried programs that read .dll;s ( shell32.dll ) i copy iy and stuff but theres a blcack background =/

i will ask firefly if he will let me post it here a thread when complete. this is not a place for advertising. i know. but since is related to vBulletin i will open a thread (with firefly's perm) and people will post there how much they are willing to pay... the package will include an edited set of templates, icons, backgrounds.. etc.

all i can tell you is that it will be totally different from the vBulletin we all know.. ;)

Check out this downloadable trial to get XP *.ico files into PS. It has a nice little import feature, to complement it's export to PS feature. ;)
