well i got this off another forum and have seen it mentioned here...

using this string url
http://animeboards.net/forums/search...h&searchdate=1

i can bring back the posts done in the past day in all forums... but i was wondering if there is such a string to bring back posts done in each forum

so i can add a link to each forum page like

View posts in this forum for the past 1 day

can this be done without actual hacking ?

well wasn't that hard to find... all i needed to do was add &forumchoice=3 to the end of this url

http://animeboards.net/forums/search...h&searchdate=1

so http://animeboards.net/forums/search...&forumchoice=3

for forum id = 3 etc

just one problem how do i add it to the forumdisplay template so that

&forumchoice=x

where x is the id of the forum ?

well here's another one, since i don't know php, this is my little contribution :(

search string to display for the last 24 hrs, post user/member sorted by particular forum

i.e. this http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/searc...chuser=eva2000 will bring back all the posts i did in the last 24 hrs...

this will bring back all the posts in this forum that i made in the last 24 hrs

does anyone have a list of all the functions for these strings ?

Sure you could do that. Try something like this:

Here is what I used and it seems to work ok. You can play around with the variables for the number of days to look back for with the username.
