I've renamed version number from 2.0.x to 3.8.000x

While not developed on 3.7.x it might work, so give it a try and report back.

Thank you for updating this!! Trying it out right now.

R.Solutions 07-04-2009 09:14 PM

Sweet thanks a lot!

JacquiiDesigns 07-04-2009 09:15 PM

Very nice! Thanks for the upgrade!

kylek 07-04-2009 09:19 PM

After installing I see no options for auto edits. In the admincp > vbulletin options > vmoods by luqmanamjad - all I have are 3 settings - active - dropdown menu - vmood images to preload.

Am I missing something, somewhere?

GetNaughty 07-04-2009 09:24 PM

Uploaded it, can't get it to work.

frightie 07-04-2009 09:26 PM

I upgraded, but now the moods are missing from the navbar and postbit. I've managed to add $vmoods_postbit, but it only shows the text.

For the navbar I tried adding $vmoods_form and nothing shows up, but if I just add $vmoods all that shows up is "Array".

Hornstar 07-04-2009 09:44 PM

Installed and Nominated. Thanks again for such a great script sniper.

Edit: @Sniper - I've attached some previews of the mood script in action if you would like to insert them into the top post.

On a related note. I'll soon be working on a brand new mood icon pack which I think will surpass my current mood icon pack. :D

dont.net 07-04-2009 11:15 PM

Installed, great product!

jalmz 07-04-2009 11:51 PM

nice... thanks sniper.. more power!

Wunderlust 07-05-2009 12:11 AM

Fantastic ! - Just one small problem - with a vbadvanced module.

I did this:- https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=197 which worked for the 3.7 version..

But when I change this for the 3.8 version on the vbadvanced pages the width and height of the image are undefined - this is from the page source, so no image shows up - Anyone been able to fix this?

PHP Code:

<div id="vmoods_menu_shelley_93x30">
    <
span>My Mood:</span>
    <
a id="vmoods" href="index.php">
        <
img id="vmood_mine" src="http://www.xxxx.com/forum/vmoods/shelley_93x30/none.gif" alt="none"

title="none" width="px" height="px" />
    </
a>
    <
script type="text/javascript"vbmenu_register("vmoods"1);</script

Running vb 3.8.3. The product is not showing the two different mood packs available. It only shows vmoods as an option for the mood packs in vBulletin Options.

Using custom style and images are not showing.

See attached images.

Update...

I have it working now. I just have to get it so the mood can be changed from my vbAdvanced CMPS page, as well as my Logician WebTemplate pages.

Thank you for the update to this mod.

Ditto that! Thanks for the brilliant share Ms Shelley = Much appreciated!
And you're working on a 2nd set of mood icons?!?!? Wow! If they are anywhere close to the quality of your current ones - they're gonna be absolutely fantastic! I'm looking forward to them!

Jacquii.

I can't get this working. I've uninstalled old version and managed to get it to show up as shown in the attached screenshot, but I can't choose any moods - it just says "My Moods: - [reset]
Using 3.8.2
EDIT: Fixed - it was just a 10 minutes slack on server. Thanks for a brilliant update on this mod:-)

And it would be really nice if one could translate moods to own language - not that we don't understand english, though...

Heh...I didn't forget to upload it...I just realized that when I did, there were actually two folders named vMoods. It was late...and I wasn't thinking clearly. ;)

Anyway...I have it working...also have it working on the vbAdvanced portal page. I just need to get it working on those pages I use with Logician's Template mod.

Other than that...it's all good, Sniper. I'm sure I speak for a lot of those who use this mod when I say..."Thanks for the update!"

All the best, Sniper! Great mod! Installed...rated...and nominated!

lurkerx 07-05-2009 02:46 PM

Reinstalled Sniper! Used to love it in the old version and was waiting for the upgraded one. Great mod! Nominated for MOTM

vitrag24 07-05-2009 05:41 PM

i'm still on vb 3.7.1.
should i update it with this?
will it work for vb 3.7.1?

Harley D 07-05-2009 05:56 PM

NICE Thanks!
I had to un-install the old one before it would finally work.

OhSoBlonde 07-05-2009 08:41 PM

OMG! My members love the Shelley style. Thank you!

OhSoBlonde 07-05-2009 09:26 PM

And my members have asked if one called "Irritated" can be added using this smiley (or a similar version)

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/

I found it at www.smileyworld.com

I'm not sure whether that was directed at me or sniper. You could certainly try and re-size that image and insert it over another mood and then title it. I wouldn't personally add that particular mood because I didn't design it and will not touch authors graphics. If I were to design one that you specified it would be in the theme I did for the others for the sake of consistency. I'll try and add one here over the coming days or as time permits.

Sweeks 07-05-2009 11:46 PM

This isnt working at all for me, uninstalled the old one, reuploaded all new files after deleting the old ones and all I get is:

Mood:

There is nothing there other than that, am I missing something?

Thanks for the update

EDIT: Just tried the old version to reinstall it and it is now doing the same thing, hope someone has an idea why this is happening :)

I have tried it on the default style and it is working fine, does this new version look for something specific to be in the templates?

I have got it to allow me to click to change my mood but all of the moods on the dropdown are not clickable, any ideas?

3.7.1 - I've not tried it myself, plus I've added a check in to make sure it can only be installed on 3.8.x but will remove that check on the weekend so you can give it a try.

How do I change where the Mood is displayed in my Postbit?

Sweeks 07-06-2009 09:29 PM

I have it working now it was due to editing the original templates, I reverted them and it is now working.

I still have a small problem, next to the mood it no longer says "Mood" or "My Mood" in the navbar and just shows the mood itself. I have checked the phrases and the phrase it there so it should show.

Any ideas on how to fix this one? Thanks

ruger 07-06-2009 10:04 PM

Having problems manually putting in the navbar. When I add $vmoods all that shows up is "Array". And auto edit is set to no.

I figured it out, working perfectly fine! I had a div wrapped round the variable with style="text-align:center;", no wonder I couldnt see the text :)

Thanks for the awesome update!

I am using vBadvanced CMPS v3.1.0 as my home page and it is not showing the mood. When I enter the forums it works fine. Any thoughts how to get it working on the vBadvanced CMPS v3.1.0 page?
