Shishir - Mail to Admin on Post

Information:
I am not too sure if this Modification is of any use or not. But seen this thread and the desperation in the posters, I thought lets help them. So came this Mod.

Now the function of this mod is simple. It will notify the Admin or any assigned member with a Mail whenever a New post(thread, post and quick reply) is made. You can select to recieve only on Thread or Post Reply or Quick Reply or any combination of those. A link of the Thread or Post will be added in the Mail. Although there will be no option to edit message as I feel no need of that.

Feature:
> Email to a address on new Thread, Reply or Quick Reply.
> Option to select the occurrence of the mail.
> Posted message in the body of the mail. (Update)

Install instruction:
==> Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
==> Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Shishir - Mail to Admin on Post and Select to your preference.

Current Version:
1.0.1

Change Log:
1.0.0 - Initial Release
1.0.1 - Posted message added in the mail.

If you like this hack please click INSTALL. Support will only be provided to those who click Install.

I'm trying this. Thank you

Many thanks - installed

My main need is to see posts when I am on the road. Although it helps to see that a post has been made, I have to make a decision whether I need to get online and respond quickly.

Therefore.... is it possible to include to text of the posted message???

soundbarrierpro 09-10-2008 11:07 AM

Now that it's updated, do we re-install both plugins?

Getting better and better~!now I'm getting picky:

Can you make the e-mail look like this:

User = xxxxx
Board = xxxxx
Forum = xxxx
Thread = xxxxx
Title = xxxxx
***************
Message contents here
***************
This thread is located at http://xxxxxxxxx

i.e. a short e-mail that contains all relevant information

Thanks!!

Sorry for the confusion. You should choose the Latest one. And if you have the old one, re-install will do the job. But a Uninstall and reinstall will be better.

Now that is too much info. :) Don't know if I'll be doing that update. If time permits then 'll try for sure. For the moment this is low on my priority list(free works always are ;)).

Thanks for the comments Guys.
