IpInfo -- Extra user IP information
 

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2010/03/16.gif IpInfo is a replacement for the standard 'view users ip' option in
vBulletin. Normally when you click on the view ip button in a user's post
you'll only see his or hers ip address and host name.

With ipInfo you'll get more information. Besides the ip address and host
name you will also see what other users have posted with the same ip
address. That feature can be really good for spotting clones.

Another thing ipInfo will show you is what other ips this user has posted
with and how many times. Could be useful when you want to ban all of the
ips of a user and not just the one of that post.

The old version should work with out any problems.
- I added this here to have a VB3.7 version for updated code in later development.

I still have the older template edit but I updated anyhow. Thanks for the work. This is a much needed mod and should be in VB by default I think.

You can revert the template edit. There should be no need for it anymore.

Thanks for the mod. Where there major changes since older versions?
I had this installed about a year ago and I don't remember it taking so long to load results.

Got just shy of 1Mill. posts and it's taking between 35-50 seconds no matter what the setting is for look back time. Seems the same no matter if it looks back 7 days or 60 days. Is this right?

Well now you come to mention it..............

This was working beautifully, today I checked a couple of IP's against posts and the info was totally wrong, I then looked at a post of my own,it showed that 13 members also share the same IP which they most certainly do not especially as some are from a different continent and also it shows me as only having one post on that IP yet I have had the same IP for @ 10 days and made a number of posts.:confused:

Have tried re-installing again today but the same thing happened,sadly unistalled for now.

Suggestions:
- why don't you combine the idea of Multiple Login Detector (AEdetector) with your product, to enable searching for clone-accounts?

- what about banned users (independently if through infractions or pure ban)? would that be possible to make it more visible, that some user is sharing IP with a banned one?

For me it takes approx. 10-15 seconds to see the screen.
