Did I get hacked?
fixedddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd lol!!!
|
You have a index.html in that folder.
http://www.gfxsupport.com/forums/index.html Remove it and it will be back to normal. :) So, no, you were not hacked. |
one question inside forums folder in your server do you have a index.html file ?
if yes try to remove the file and see if that work . |
omg yes, lmao blinded by my noobness on this one for sure guys, sorry lol! i was told vb is unhackable so i knew it wasnt the software
thanks for opening my eyes geez |
vBulletin is not unhackable. Nothing is unhackable. Well, except a computer not connected to anything but the power source :D
But, if vBulletin's main code is found to be exploited, I've seen it patched within hours of the exploit being found. :) Happy to help, Guru |
yea, they just keep on the ball!
but anyways, reason why this happened was because I installed the vbjirc system but the vbjirc.php page wouldnt carry over my forums style so I moved all the files into the root directory not noticing the index.html file. |

lol.
We all have these common mistakes. Infact, I'm creating a integrated vBulletin Video site, and I kind of had that issue. I was working on "index.php" and forgot I had a "INDEX.TEMP" in the directory (I've configured Apache to have INDEX.TEMP show over any index if it's access towards /Videos/) and I was like "What the heck is going on.." |
right on, yea im in the midsts of bridging together clipshare and vbulletin so it uses the same login information and profiles, are you making a whole custom system for your video site?
