Co-owner liscence?
Hello,
I have recently been made a partner of a website which utilizes vBulletin. The co-owner has provided me with his customer# but without his email and password I am unable to participate in the community here and ask questions. I can ask him for his information and I'm sure he will oblidge, but I would prefer not to resort to this. How much would it cost me to purchase rights to be a validated community member here with proof of purchase for our version? Jon |
In the vB members area, you can set your email address to be allowed priority support/vB.org member as well.
Click here: http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php and log in. Once logged in, put your email address in one of the boxes in "Contact Email Addresses" Make sure the "Site Permissions" that you want are checked. Then click save. |
Thank you, I was told by email that I could not do this without the original purchaser's private info. I'll do this now.

Well, you need the customer number + password, but thats it.

Ohhh, that is my problem. I have been given the customer number but I do not wish to ask my partner to reveal his password to me, if this is the only way I suppose it must be done.
Won't this action make it so that only I can use this forum and not my partner though? Jon |

there is no joint-accounts... the only way you can do it is by asking your partner to put your email in his settings on vbulletin.com, here: http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php ... so you will have the same level of access on this and that site...

Ah! Exactly what I needed to know I was trying to do this with my current account, not from his. I'll ask him to do this, thank you for your help.

wonder where the "You are not showing up licensed.. blah blah blah" message is :wonder:
|
It was in a window at the top of the forums when I logged in. It's all set now, he added my email and I was able to set my account to access the liscenced member content now. Thanks for the help.
