This hack used to work on 1.x but I cant seem to get it to work anymore. Can anyone make a new one for version 2 or possibly make this one work?

Also we should be able to add urls into it so that the script will realize if they are on our chat page or home page etc.

Can this be done? Kier? :D :D

Thanks

Tracking a user's location in vBulletin 2.0 is not possible at this time. In 1.1.X this was tracked in the session table but the location field has been dropped.

:(:(

Ack! Dont take features AWAY from vb! Only add them :( :(

DeathLoad 04-25-2001 01:09 PM

*sigh* ... this was such a nice hack

Is anyone working on a hack to re-add the location field and track it? This would be a very nice hack to have. :(

It is trivial to add the location back. Just add the field to the session table and then look how 1.1.x just saves the URL to the database and put that into sessions.php

It was only removed as John did not see a need for it to be there anymore as he was unaware of the who's online hack.

If its simple can someone please show me how to do it?

Hi Fred,

If you wouldn't mind, would you please post the code and give us directions as to how to hack this back in? I miss this.

Much Appreciated,

Sorry I don't have the time but a code hacker should be able to do this without too much trouble.

GimmeTech 05-01-2001 09:15 PM

Hmm,

Where's TubeDogg and Mas*Mind when you need them. ;)
