I shall install this skin when I'm back to home. Thanks! :)

Lottis 01-23-2006 06:20 AM

Than you fore sharing this. Very nice.

princessmandy 01-23-2006 09:40 AM

I went to import style XML for your very nice template and it gave this error. "Your version: 3.5.3 File version: 3.5.2" and told me to go back. :ermm:

Barbarian 01-23-2006 12:05 PM

princess: just have it 'ignore version' - the skin will work 100% fine.

ammarcom004 01-23-2006 12:39 PM

thanks

Barbarian 01-23-2006 09:49 PM

We have some other ... feminine themes. Will put them up sometime :)

hbalagh1 01-24-2006 01:21 AM

ChErAbOo 01-26-2006 09:18 PM

I love this theme I didn't see it here before I found it by googling for women themes I went ahead and clicked install but I have had it up a while I added a few more flowers and a wave design to my logo in the header but I use it as my default theme I love it great work I am probably going to be getting your pink theme soon as well nice work it was hard finding more girlie themes and my main forum most pop is girl talk gift to gab so to find this theme was like perfect ;)

Umm - can you explain to me why the link to ForumTemplates.com was removed?

EDIT: Not only that, but this: "<meta name="author" content="AR WebSolutions, Inc" />"

We didn't remove anything. We modified the psds a bunch and installed it the way it was downloaded from here...exactly. BUT, we have just given the credit in our moderator/admin's forum to you now.

AR WebSolutions is our parent company owner.

Barbarian 01-27-2006 02:08 AM

I have to be a stickler here ... from the readme.txt file:

Love the skins over there. Very tasteful. Barbarian - I posted a question in your vb forum regarding the linking if you get a chance to take a look (I see you are online now)

2 questions:

1. What CMS are you using?
2. How did you get the side menus in the forums? I have been trying to get that for awhile to ad some adsense ads but can't get it right. Whats your secret?

Thanks

Not using any CMS. Only custom programming. Side menus are added with custom html. Nothing special.

FYI Tony - your site crashed my firefox browser. Not sure what was going on, but I hit the back button and that giant pink box kept popping up. I would close it, and it would close and send me into a forum, then I hit back and got into a loop. After three times, my browser just crashed.

Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it. This is the first time we have heard of this. Many of our women use firefox along with myself. The girls there are very good about letting me know if we have an issue and they haven't mentioned a crashing issue. We have usually 100+ registered users online at once during the middle of the day so they'll let me know today if we are having an issue.

Did you try to clear cache? (F5)

Oh that looks NICE Tony! I may just start coming back to MT now. The other skin used to make my head hurt (I love pink but not THAT much). Nice job to the template creator. :)

Sorry Barbarian, that we didn't add your url to our site. We've now added it. I guess we are proficient in installing skins, that we don't need to read the info file LOL.

take care

Hi Princessfrozen. Thanks for the compliments on MUT, it's appreciated.

parm775 02-05-2006 08:39 AM

i tried installing this but its the first time i am doing the style thing and dont know what to do with those psd files, i modified them aqnd put my forum name there but now what? how do i put them up on the forum :((
every thing else is fine but the logo on top and those flowers dont show up on top i assume its something to do with those psd files any idea how to get them up on the forum .sorry for asking a noobish question but thats what i am :(

Barbarian 02-05-2006 02:23 PM

The logo image is the following: http://www.forumtemplates.com/forums...irlTalk_01.gif (girlTalk_01.gif)

Open up the PSD file, edit the text, and save that part of the design as girlTalk_01.gif. Then upload the picture to your images/girltalk folder.

funinthesun 02-06-2006 01:57 PM

I tried to import this but it says that it's for version for 3.5.2 and I'm running 3.53 which is why it won't work? How can this be if this thread says it's for 3.5.3?

Barbarian 02-06-2006 04:50 PM

Just tell it to ignore style version.

GrendelKhan{TSU 02-07-2006 02:04 AM

wow.

very very nice.

[high]* GrendelKhan{TSU clicks install. I'd love to see more from you. very professional and clean. nice work. :)[/high]

baileysemt123 02-09-2006 12:03 AM

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this skin!!!

We've installed it over at http://www.sellersource.net/forums/ and are in the process of further modifying it.

girlTalk is the basis though, and I will update this thread when our mods are done so y'all can see it.

Again -- a BIG thank you.

:) Bailey

Symen_4ab 02-09-2006 02:52 PM

Great style, installed, thanks ;)

FLMom 02-10-2006 01:04 AM

Very nice! I will definitely consider this one for my site! :)

Aleah 02-20-2006 02:29 AM

I need a little help . Is there somewhere that explains in detail how to do this . Ive never done this before and could use some help. I just dld it ...now what ?

TIA

Barbarian 02-27-2006 06:47 PM

Aleah - unzip the file, upload the file inside 'Upload' to your 'images' folder in vBulletin, and then in your admin panel just upload the .xml file.

FLMom 03-06-2006 02:14 AM

Okay, I just downloaded it and did everything you said to do...now what? Sorry, if this is simple, I have never done this before. Nothing is showing up on my boards, its just the default Vb.

FLMom 03-06-2006 02:24 AM

Okay, I got it showing up on my boards, but it has a ton of broken pics in it. What did I do wrong?

It doesn't sound like the images folder got uploaded to the location the skin is expecting.

Double check where you uploaded them to and make sure your skin is pointing to that location. You can check that by choosing Stylevars from the drop down box for the style in your Style Manager. The image paths are located toward the middle of the page. Those must match where your images were uploaded to or you get the broken images.

Hope this helps... :)

Barbarian 03-07-2006 12:15 PM

In the downloaded zip file will bea folder called Upload. In that will be another folder called girltalk. Upload this girltalk folder to your images/ folder inside your vBulletin installation.

FLMom 03-07-2006 02:32 PM

Thanks ladies! That worked!! Now I am having a problem with the collapse graphics and the graphics at the top of the page not showing up on my cmps main page. :ermm:
