why is it that when i edit usergroup permissions it creates a duplicate usergroup.

also. i cant use the language phrase xml. since that was created with 3.5.2 or something and im running 3.8.4

EDIT: before anyone says to check all my plugins, i disabled UMG and it stopped duplicating my usergroups

Some questions. It's possible with the Pro version use external links for images like media, for example for use it with ImageShack or another external hosting?

In the personal settings, when I change "show the last Comment" to Yes always shows it as NO and doesn't allow to change it (also it happens with other settings of the same box when you save the changes).

In members galleries appears the letters (ABC). There is a way to turn off or modify it and put the member's albums/galleries directly in this category instead ABC?

Hello, I tried to download the Lite (free) to understand how to can integrate into my new vBulletin forums. I took the lite version because I have special needs and not even know how to use it.
When I install the lite version 1.4.5 on vBulletin 3.8.4 seems to do the whole installation successfully, no error in the admin cp I can do all the configurations, but when I enter in the panel / user account, I can not find any tabs of the product so do not I can create albums, upload photos, assign permissions.

All this happens because your version is older than the Lite version of my BB?

You have to create your own Link in the navbar.

This will probably be a really stupid question, but when I inserted that in the navbar it came out in regular font.

How would I bold it like the rest of the items in the navbar?

One more question.

I just uploaded a test wmv file.

When I go into the gallery to play the file a minuture window pops up. When I click on the window it shows full screen.

What settings need to be changed to have that first window appear a bit larger?

I installed this and it was working fine. But I moved server last week, and now I'm having problems uploading pictures via the user cp 'upload' option.

When I try to do it, I'm getting this message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagetypes() in /home/ukcf/public_html/forum/umg_gallery/umg_functions.php on line 584

I've googled this, and also read through this thread and the thread for the 3.7 version, but couldn't find a solution.

Can anyone help?

imagetypes is a function of the GDLib. You sure, that GDLib is installed on your new server ?

Hi coroner, ive read through the thread, and not found an answer to my Q's.

1. does this mod make it possible to take attachments from the normal forum attach system and add them to the gallery, if so would they be copied or just refferenced, as i would like to use the gallery as a sort of archive for current attachments that may later get pruned from the forums.

2. does anyone know how to get the video thumbnails generated, this would only be nessasary for the gallery, not the forum, i have a very very big forum on a very very big dedicated server, that i have full control of.

we have over 700gb of attachments and i cant risk a mod messing up our forum, i understand its on seperate db tables and if i can get answers to my 2 Q's and you think your gallery would handle the kind of attachment weight we have i think it would be ideal.

we currently have average attachments of 20mb, and i dont think we need public level uploading, that would be purely for mods and admins.

Whats your thoughts.

1.) Not the LITE ! In PRO the attachments are refferenced. You can see it, at my Forum.

2.) I do not know it.

Nice hack. Installed.

But I got a problem. When opening a mpg video (or whatever extension) the player is so small! It has a dimension of 90x113! How come? In the hack options, everything is setup correctly for the media sizes. Like, for mpeg, I have putted 640x480.

So, why is my player small like that? See picture.

But, like I said in my previous post, I did! Like, for mpeg and mpg, I have putted 640x480 and my player is still small. (and the file played is a mpg file).

I've checked this out - and it works. See image !

Another way you can do, is:
open umg_extensions.php and search the following part:

change the width and high as you like, maybe:

But, how come it does not take the Media sizes we defined in the the Gallery options? I find strange that it works for you or/and others but not for me? Would you see a reason why?

I've installed this mod but when I go to any link below Media Sizes I get the following

Now, as far as I know the umg_admin.php is in the admincp folder of the clientscript directory. Is it supposed to be there or the forum root?

Actually, I've rectified the problem but I've found another one. I've just uploaded an audio file into the gallery [mp3] but the thumbnails aren't appearing. What am I missing?

AdminCP - UMG - Options General - Legal Notice.

Not really. I have an AddOn for the Pro, that will create a private category for the vB albums.

Differences are much. Have you seen the ChangeLog ?

its a very good mod, but the lite is REALLY lite. and i dont see anywhere to purchase your mod. if im gunna purchase a gallery, it will 99% be photopost. not sure what good it is to release this gallery mod here as a lite version and then pro out the other one, only to make some bucks right?

how much does the pro mod cost anyways cuz your site doesnt have a option to buy it unless im missing it
