The Lottery Settings; Range of Numbers, Number of Numbers, Ticket Price do not seem to be changing anymore. I change them in admincp > Casino > Game Settings [SAVE]

....but they don't update in the game. I've tried refreshing and tried running the cron- still no change.

Changes will effect the next draw, but not the existing one. Until it finishes any changes you make won't show in the game.

Reason is, if I buy a ticket with numbers 5, 15, 20 & 25, then you change the draw to select 3 numbers from 1-15, I am left with a ticket that has too many numbers, and numbers outside the range that can be drawn.

So, even if I run the cron manually, that doesn't settle the current draw and start a new one?

No, the draw won't settle until the date / time is passed.

i would expect that to be fixed in a final version, but i assume it will still creep up as that is a pretty big design feature :p:D

how do you import the xml file in vb?

admincp > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > (scroll down) Add/Import Product

Click on Browse in the top box and browse for the product_casino.xml file on your desktop (or wherever it is) and BE SURE TO ALWAYS SELECT Allow Overwrite = YES

Then Click IMPORT

Andrew, did I edit any templates? I don't remember.... .lol. Honestly, I don't... I think the edits were to .php files.

Anyway, I upgraded and over-wrote to this 9.1. I tried to zip through some of the games and only noticed that the roulette isn't working. You select a chip and it won't let me place it anywhere....

I just installed it but I have two problems:

1) The games do not work when I click on them, I just get a blank page

2) I cannot get the casino to work on another skin

How can I fix this?

Most likely not, pretty sure you didn't edit any .php files either. At least not for this mod ;)

It only applies to the casino templates, so if you modified those to get a different look or something, then they would need reverted otherwise changes from the old version wouldn't get applied, which often breaks the games.

If you just installed and didn't modify anything beyond that, no problems.

Does this happen under the default skin? Or just under the custom one?


Start by reuploading all of the files, sometimes something gets corrupted or lost in the transfer.

Depends entirely on how the skin was designed, but you may have to edit the casino_*_main templates to match the way your skin is designed.

I'll have a look for the cause this evening.

Where should the casino.php and texasholdem file be place so it should work? as I get a blank screen when I go to the same link on my website

Follow the same directory structure that the "UPLOAD" folder does

casino.php goes in the same place as your form, the casino folder goes there as well

So you'd have yoursite.com/forum/casino/blackjack.php (and all the other files in that folder)

I have installed and testing, so far works great thank you. I have noticed it would be nice to have a link back to the main games page from the other pages. I have created a link in my navbar but a link on the game would be nice.:D

I use casino + vbadvanced CMPS and the newest update causes big issues with intergrating the casino into CMPS

Make sure all the files uploaded properly, and that all of the casino_* templates are in there original format.

Did you have to do any file modifications to install vbadvanced?

Andrew, I am not following your advice or post... I upload everything for 9.1 and installed the mod with overwrite... I honestly don't remember if any templates were modified... none of the casino templates are red... so I assume none need reverted. In the AdminCP I see there is a way to revert ALL templates... but I will not do that since I have many other templates modified that are absolutely necessary and would be to hard to re-do. Is there another way to see if any casino templates need to be reverted? Please remember that many of us have many mods installed... and some them required templates edited to work...

If you have not recently edited any of those templates to make the casino do something special, then you do NOT NEED TO REVERT THEM.

Installed update with zero problem. this continues to be the best product out there imo.

For the life of me I can not find how to setup the lottery in step 4?

You should have a group of settings in your AdminCP called "casino"--everything will be under that.

Its real easy once you find it.

the donation log is for admins to see which of their members are donating to eachother and how much.

I see casino, just not the lottery.

I think I found my mess up, I need to install that module, but what is CMPS?

CMPS is a separate modification. Its a content management system for the rest of your site pages to reflect the forum.

Very cool little thing but I do not believe you need it to run Andrew's casino.

Are you sure you uploaded all the files to the "includes" folder?

The lottery is under "Casino Games" as is the settings for which user groups can add events to the sports betting piece. CMPS has nothing to do with the casino, it's a completely separate hack.

I've installed only the main module, I am assuming that is my mistake, so I've downloaded:

If you are not using CMPS you have no need for any of the CMPS modules.

What's not working with them?

If you've got the lottery setup it will start overnight, or you can run the scheduled task to start it now. For the sportspool do you have any mod usergroups set up for it? If so you should see a "Add event" button at the bottom of the page.

You don't need to download anything apart from the one zip file.

Could you send me the query that caused this, there are a lot of places it could have come from based on just that.
