thanks! MOG |
do I have to add 1 keywrod each time? or can I easily add a bunch of keywords somehow at once?
I did try with space between keywords, and "," between, but nothing worked. ps: you have any idea how I can change the color of the links in vbulletin ? since I dont want to use default |
I'm quite interested in the possibility of this. I have a fairly large Wiki integrated into my VB, and would like use auto linker to connect many words to wiki entries. My concern is server load. If I enable a lot of these, how will this effect load time? Will I have to worry about this jacking up my 'max_user_connections' or 'max_questions' resources on my database?

Works great! 5 stars! You rock man :D

Not sure what you change in the new version, but it slows the hell out of my forum, big thread wont load at all and i was gettin constant "SQL server gone away" messages, and no matter how much i increased the wait_timeout value it wouldn't go away
It actually crashed my server (And i'm not on cheap hosting, i have a VPS to my self with only 1 domain hosted on it) when i tried to backup my database while it was installed, i had to get them to do a manual rebbot and they said that ctrl alt delete wouldn't even work they have to power it off to reboot it |

At the moment, this plugin doesnt really have a huge amount of consideration for overheads or board size (bad of me I know, but Im on cloud hosting at rackspace and that can take a HUGE load, and my board is still tiny by comparison to many). ALSO - this plugin was really built for my use, but Im releasing it here on vb.org for others to use as well (in exchange for links or donations of course!). BUT - thats not to say that I wont take this stuff into consideration, its just I hadnt thought about it much pre-launch. I will have a think about how it can be improved over the next few days and come up with a newer version mid next week. Any additional feedback you can give me in the meantime is highly valued, it all helps me to improve the product for me and for you! thanks MOGmartin |
