RSS is a simple feature, so I can add it on the next release (most probably this Sunday).

To help you a bit, in the next release I'll add a switch in post Ad form, where the seller can decide if the ad should be mark as reserve or not. Sorry, this is the only that I can do as a way to help you.

Added in the todo list

Ok thanks that would work

Upload the attached file and overwrite the old one. Please note that in this version (if it should works), smilies are not available.

Sorry Chris I discovered it is a JS conflict with this mod, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=277323. When I turn this mod off the editor loads.
However, I ran the error console on firebug and I get this error
Code:

"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://www.canadianriflesregiment.com/crrforums/christeris/classifieds/includes/tooltiptext.js"
FYI.

First time that I seen something not working because there is a js file does not exists. In any case I removed that line from the attached xml file. This file is not in use at all. Just leff behind.

Thanks for info on RSS that will be awesome, one of my affiliate sellers asked if a stock countdown could be used as an alternative to the minimum days? Sounds pretty major

I am still having this issue where it takes the lower of any settings if a member belongs to more than one usergroup that can use the classified.

This member has two usergroups associated to them both Additional Users Group.

Group 1 Normal member (Additional Users Group)

http://www.triumphtalk.com/gallery/d...y_11_09_26.jpg

Group 2 - Sponsoring member or donating member (Additional Users Group)

http://www.triumphtalk.com/gallery/d...y_11_09_26.jpg

However when they want to post an ad it will take the settings of group 1 and not group 2 as it should

Christos Teriakis 05-11-2013 08:11 AM

RSS Feeds for last 10 Classifieds added in version 1.5.0 which will release tonight. See attached screenshot.

pecky 05-11-2013 08:11 AM

Thanks for releasing this, it's a great mod.

Is there an option/setting to leave sold & reserved items visible in the category listings, just listing them as sold or reserved?

sadiq6210 05-11-2013 08:13 AM

The links in PM templates is like this:
Code:

http://www.domian.com/forum/member.php?u=1&tab=classifieds#classifieds
((&tab=classifieds#classifieds)) but there is no classified tab in the profiles

I you have time, I prefer to add the classified tab again Chriss
User1 will easily know if user2 has any classified from his profile only.

Believe me it should confuse your users. For me is noting to do it as the only that I need is to remove "AND status=1" from the query. But I don't suggest it. If someone wants to see all Classifieds is so easy to select "Status: --All--" (instead of the default Status: Open) in the search form. By doing it he will get a listing from all classifieds (except hidden).

Yes I left it there as it does not causes any messing (if there is no such tab the system shows the default tab), in case that someday I'll add it.

You need to make a global search / replace in file christeris/classifieds/includes/functions.php

Search for:
Code:

style="float:right;"
Replace with:
Code:

style="float:left;"

Hello all,

Classifieds version 1.5.0 is available for download. In this version:
  1. Have fixed all reported bugs. There is still a reported bug, but I'm unable to reproduce it, so I need your help. If any user has found the editor missing in add/edit classified, I'll appreciate if he/she reports it.
  2. New features in 1.5.0
    1. Facebook Like Advanced (Shows users who liked it)
    2. RSS Feeds of last 10 Classifieds
    3. Seller has the ability to not mark a classifieds as reserved when a user clickc BuyNow, in case that he has stock of the same items and he wants to keep classifieds active.
    4. Added description in extra fields appearing as help text in add/edit form.
    5. In case that a category has no subcategories, beside the "No more categories" added an icon/link to previous category level.
  3. How to upgrade:
    1. Please download, unzip and upload ALL files. There are changes almost in all files, plus new images in the image directory. So a selectable upload is not advisable.
    2. Import product-classifieds.xml from your admincp. Don't forget to check "Overwrite".
Thank you
Chris

The problem is why that field didn't created by the product-classifieds.xml. Have you imported that file??. I seen the code and is correct:
Code:

<installcode>
$vbulletin->db->query_write("ALTER TABLE ". TABLE_PREFIX ."items ADD flagreserved INT( 1 ) UNSIGNED DEFAULT '1' NOT NULL");
$vbulletin->db->query_write("ALTER TABLE ". TABLE_PREFIX ."item_fields ADD description mediumtext);
</installcode>
<uninstallcode>
</uninstallcode>

Thank you Charlie. But what about your editor issue? Has it fixed? It became my nightmare. Maybe you have manually edit the template classifieds_addedit_item and then xml does not updates it?

Chris

CharlieDelta 05-11-2013 01:49 PM

I have not fixed it but I do know what the issue is. If I have this mod enabled, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=277323, there is some sort of JS conflict. I have contacted DBT to see if it something on their end. If I disable the DBT mod the editor displays and loads fine.

Chris I have two errors with the new upgrade;
When adding a description to an added field there is a db error
Code:

echhh.. s###... there was a missing double quote at the end of the query. Try to import this file and tell me if it works to update the zip file (assuming that you haven't added manually the field description in database).

CharlieDelta 05-11-2013 02:20 PM

With this file I get another db error
Code:

Warning: mysqli_query() [function.mysqli-query]: (42S02/1146): Table 'vbulletin.item_fields' doesn't exist in [path]/includes/class_core.php on line 1391

My apologies. There was a missing double quote to close the query at the end. I've released v.1.5.1 to fix it, but I think that is better to remove that manually created field and let the new xml to add them. Otherwise you'll have problems in furture updates.

CharlieDelta 05-11-2013 03:00 PM

The latest update gives me this db error and will not upgrade;

This is the results of stress. I wanted to have all done (fixes and new features) before noon so to be able to monitor and bug reports in the evening.

Try the attached file. Was missing the main part of the tables (classifieds_)
